Is my provider in the Delaware Physicians Care network?

A.

You need to make sure your provider is part of the Delaware Physicians Care network. You can search for providers by using the Find A Doctor link on this Web site.

  • If the doctor mental health provider is listed, then the provider is in the network and members may continue to see the provider with no change in their care.
  • If the doctor mental health provider is not listed, go to the next question to learn how to have your provider added or call Member Services at 1-866-543-2383.

My provider is not in the Delaware Physicians Care network. I want to keep seeing my provider. What do I need to do?

Use the provider nomination form to request that your provider be added to our network.

What if my provider does not want to be in the Delaware Physicians Care network?

A.

If your provider does not want to contract with Delaware Physicians Care, you and your provider will have 30 days or 6 sessions, whichever comes first, to complete treatment or make arrangements for care to continue with a provider that is on the list. At that time, members you can call Member Services at 1-866-543-2167 for help in finding a new provider.

A.

Contact the provider who wrote the prescription to get a refill. You need to make sure your provider is part of the Delaware Physicians Care network. You can search for providers by using the Find A Doctor link on this Web site.

  • If the mental health provider is listed, then the provider is in the network and members may continue to see the provider with no change in their care.
  • If the mental health provider is not listed, go to Question 2 to learn how to have your provider added or call Member Services at 1-866-543-2167.
